The Herbal Garden Workshop Series
Saturdays – May 30, June 6, and June 13 – from 10 am – Noon
Join Anna Marie Beauchemin of East Bay Herbals as she introduces participants to simple ways to incorporate herbs into gardens, kitchens, and medicine cabinets. Each session will include a hands-on activity and an herbal product to take home. Registration is required and each workshop is limited to 15 participants.
• May 30: Discover Herbalism — Delve into the history, terminology, and modern-day applications of herbalism.
• June 6: Herbal Gardening — Discover easy to grow medicinal herbs that you can cook with and make medicine from. We will also discuss herbs that are beneficial for pollinators. This is an indoor/outdoor workshop – please dress in layers and be prepared for inclement weather.
• June 13: Cooking and Preserving Herbs — Learn how to preserve and cook with your fresh garden herbs. We will concentrate on herbs introduced in the previous sessions.
