Pesticides, batteries, car cleaners, and paints are a few examples of items that are considered household hazardous waste (HHW) because they threaten human and environmental health when disposed of improperly. Mt. View Sanitary District partners to support a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility available for residents at 4797 Imhoff Place in Martinez that is open Monday – Saturday, 7 am – 2 pm.
