Notice is hereby given that on May 12, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Mt. View Sanitary District, following a duly noticed and conducted public hearing, adopted Ordinance No. 2022-136 increasing Sewer Service Charges for single single-family residential from $740.16 to $814.20 and for Apartment and Mobile Homes from $592.911 to $652.20. The Ordinance provided that residential rates will increase according to a schedule pursuant to the Sewer Service Charges Study prepared by Municipal Financial Services, dated April 2020 which may be found HERE. Charges for Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional uses will increase according to strength and flow also pursuant to the report by Municipal Financial Services.
The effective date of the increase for fiscal year 2022-23 is July 1, 2022. Sewer Service Charges will be collected on the Countys Property Tax Bill. Questions regarding this notice may be directed to the Board Secretary at 3800 Arthur Rd, Martinez, CA 94553 or (925) 228-5635 ext. 25.
