The Local Agency Formation Commission’s (LAFCO) Municipal Service Review recommended a feasibility study to explore the possibility of consolidation between Mt. View Sanitary District and Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. An agreement to proceed was made and both agencies, along with the consultant, met to discuss the teams and roles for each agency and consultant, the project scope, timeline, Charter, Communication Plan, and next steps. The Communication Plan, which will outline how information about the feasibility study will be shared through the study process, was completed and is currently under review.
